Job description

Seeing you succeed is our symbol of success.

At Chick-fil-A Frederick Blvd, we are looking for exceptional leaders who want more than a management position. We are building a leadership pipeline for aspiring Chick-fil-A LDP/TDP candidates, future Operators, senior restaurant leaders, and business professionals who want to grow their ability to lead people and businesses well.

Our Owner/Operator is known as “Coach Taylor” because he approaches leadership like a Division I college coach: recruit talented people, develop their abilities, challenge them to grow, and prepare them for whatever comes next.

Our goal is for Chick-fil-A Frederick Blvd to become a launching pad for your career.

Whether your future involves growing within our organization, pursuing Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program, becoming a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator, or eventually serving in another organization or industry, we want you to leave better prepared to lead than when you arrived.

You will be developed, challenged, coached, and invested in. In return, you will be expected to do the same for the people you lead.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on leadership role within a high‑volume Chick‑fil‑A restaurant. You will have real responsibility for people, operations, business results, and organizational culture.

As you demonstrate readiness, your level of ownership and responsibility will continue to grow.

You will have opportunities to:

  • Lead Front of House and Back of House teams with care, clarity, and accountability.
  • Coach, develop, and prepare the next generation of leaders.
  • Own operational results and help drive excellence across the restaurant.
  • Deliver a guest experience that reflects Chick‑fil‑A’s standard of hospitality.
  • Help protect and strengthen a culture where people feel seen, known, heard, and valued.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop Team Members.
  • Participate in performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Learn labor scheduling, payroll management, workforce planning, and retention strategy.
  • Analyze sales, labor, food cost, profitability, customer experience, and operational performance.
  • Create and execute 30/60/90‑day business plans.
  • Identify business bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve capacity, speed, accuracy, quality, and service.
  • Learn inventory management, food safety systems, quality standards, and vendor management.
  • Participate in sales growth, catering, community engagement, and brand‑building initiatives.
  • Help shape restaurant strategy alongside senior leadership.
  • Receive regular one‑on‑one coaching and developmental feedback.
Business Acumen Development

Our goal is to develop leaders who understand more than how to run a shift.

You will gain exposure to multiple areas of restaurant and business leadership, including:

  • Restaurant Operations
  • People Leadership
  • Recruiting & Talent Development
  • Training & Leadership Development
  • Financial Management
  • Labor Strategy
  • Food Cost & Inventory
  • Sales & Brand Growth
  • Guest Experience
  • Community Engagement
  • Food Safety & Quality
  • Strategic Planning
  • Performance Management
  • Leadership Coaching
Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

  • Solves problems rather than waiting for someone else to solve them.
  • Takes ownership of both successes and failures.
  • Raises the standard for themselves and the people around them.
  • Is hungry for growth and willing to be challenged.
  • Is humble enough to serve others, receive feedback, and keep learning.
  • Can lead with both care and accountability.
  • Communicates clearly and directly.
  • Builds trust quickly with people.
  • Can navigate difficult conversations and conflict respectfully.
  • Uses good judgment and makes sound decisions.
  • Is curious about people and business.
  • Can work independently without needing constant oversight.
  • Responds well in a fast‑paced and changing environment.
  • Wants responsibility and is willing to earn greater responsibility over time.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of leadership experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
  • Experience leading teams and developing others.
  • Restaurant or hospitality leadership experience is preferred.
  • Previous Chick‑fil‑A experience is valuable but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred for candidates pursuing long‑term executive, LDP/TDP, or Operator pathways, but demonstrated leadership ability and experience will also be considered.
