Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking restaurant team members for Miss J's Smokehouse inside our travel center. Cooks will prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen to ensure fast, quality service.

Cashiers support guest experiences in a quick-service setting. You will follow recipes, monitor temperatures, handle equipment safely, and collaborate with front-of-house staff while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Availability to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking and follow recipes.
• Cook dishes according to diner menu specifications.
• Monitor food temperature and quality standards.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and inventory management.
