Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking restaurant team members for Miss J's Smokehouse inside our travel center. Cooks will prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and keep the kitchen clean and safe. Cashiers will ensure a friendly guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Roles involve following recipes, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver timely orders while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and stay focused.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is expected.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: chop vegetables, marinate meat, measure ingredients.
• Cook or assist in cooking dishes per menu specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and rotating stock (FIFO).
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to fulfill orders promptly.
• Follow established procedures, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
