Job summary

Chick-fil-A Woodbrook Drive in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Inventory & Facilities Specialist for part-time or full-time work. You will protect inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure the restaurant is ready to serve guests with excellence.

The role emphasizes organization, ownership, and proactive maintenance across stocking, facilities upkeep, and readiness for both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory or warehouse operations is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to rotate stock and perform counts.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and organize deliveries Monday-Saturday.
  • Verify incoming inventory for accuracy and quality.
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO standards.
  • Organize cooler, freezer, and dry storage areas.
  • Maintain inventory levels and communicate shortages.
  • Execute weekly & monthly inventory counts.
  • Complete preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments.
  • Identify maintenance concerns before they become major issues.
  • Coordinate vendor service visits when needed.
  • Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
  • Complete weekly Facilities and equipment Audit.
  • Complete deep cleaning and organization projects.
  • Maintain storage rooms, loading dock, dumpster area, and back-of-house organization.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas meet Chick-fil-A cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Help create an organized, safe, and efficient environment for the entire team.

What You'll Do
Stocking & Inventory
  • Receive and organize deliveries Monday-Saturday

  • The restaurant is safer, cleaner, and more organized than yesterday

  • Must be 18+ years or older
  • Takes ownership without being asked
  • Loves organization and attention to detail
  • Enjoys fixing, improving, and maintaining systems
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Can safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Is dependable, punctual, and accountable
  • Takes pride in doing quality work
  • Flexible in schedule to resolve urgent Equipment and facilities issues

Previous experience in inventory, warehouse operations, maintenance, logistics, retail receiving, facilities, or building maintenance is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Schedule
  • Part-Time (approximately 15-35 hours per week)
  • Monday-Saturday
  • Mornings starting at 5am and daytime hours
  • occasionally Sundays
  • if seeking Full Time willing to learn and support FOH OR BOH responsibilities
