Job summary

Guest Services Inc. is seeking a friendly Guest Service Associate at our Washington location to greet guests, answer questions, seat guests, and ensure satisfaction in the dining area.

You will assist servers, manage table loads, and maintain a clean, welcoming space throughout shifts. Responsibilities include taking cues from guests, coordinating with kitchen and servers, and performing setup/clean-up duties.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education required; HS diploma preferred.
• Food safety certification is required.
• Strong sanitation habits must be maintained.
• Experience in National Park food service is preferred.
• Ability to learn and use the restaurant POS system, cash register, and credit card terminal.
• Ability to solve guest problems and refer to management as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and politely.
• Answer questions necessary to assist guests.
• Acknowledge guests as they depart, thank them, and invite returns.
• Acknowledge and anticipate guest needs with urgency.
• Answer telephone and direct calls when needed.
• Assist servers with delivering items and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain a pleasant dining experience and check on guests regularly.
• Perform setup/clean-up duties before/after meals.
• Complete side work and report gratuities as required.
