Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a friendly Host/ess to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and support dining operations across the resort's venues. You will help ensure a seamless guest experience with a welcoming attitude and professional presence. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Previous hotel or resort experience is preferred. A passion for health and wellness, reliable transportation, and the ability to stand for long periods are essential

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as Host/ess or related F&B role.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required.
• Standing for long periods is required.
• Knowledge or passion for Health & Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and fond farewell to guests.
• Support restaurant functions and guest dining areas.
• Oversee reservations, floor flow, walk-ins, floor plans, menus.
• Assist as an extension of the Server to ensure a flawless guest experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.

Availability on weekends and holidays is required for scheduling purposes.

As a Host/ess You Will Be Responsible For

• Providing a warm welcome and fond farewell to all guests
• Support all functions in the restaurants and other areas where guest dining occurs
• Overseeing reservations, flow of the floor, walk-in guests, floor plans, menus and all other primary functions
• Acts as an extension of the Server in all capacities and focus is supporting to ensure the guests experience is flawless

Qualifications

• One to two years' experience as Host/ess, Server Assistant or any related Food & Beverage experience
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness
