Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Restaurant Host to greet and seat Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, professional manner. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and monitor service flow to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Good OpenTable knowledge and strong communication are essential to success in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and seat customers at the host stand/door.
• Monitor server performance to ensure smooth service.
• Observe telephone etiquette.
• Handle reservations through OpenTable (including VIPs).
• Organize reservations, maximize seating during operating hours, optimize staffing.
• Adhere to accounting procedures and maintain POS knowledge.
• Maintain flow of service and proper seating for each station.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Assist with lifting tables and chairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus and covers.
• Maintain hygiene standards including uniform and personal presentation.

Job Description:

YOU WILL BE:

The Restaurant Host serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner by greeting and seating customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintains presence at host stand / door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers


• Monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers' dining experience


• Observes proper telephone etiquette


• Handles reservations through OpenTable platform (including VIPs) and any additional inquiries regarding hours of operation, specials, events, etc.


• Organizes reservations, maximizes seating during operating hours, and optimizes staffing and customer traffic


• Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system


• Keeps flow of service to standards (e.g., proper seating of customers to each wait station)


• Participates in daily pre-shift meetings


• Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)


• Maintains cleanliness and presentability of all menus and menu covers


• Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:


• Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes


• Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks


• Adheres to posted work schedule and follows established procedures for schedule and shift changes

Salary Range $20.79 - $25.99*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
