Job summary

Latin Bites Kitchen in Woodway, Houston, is seeking a friendly weekend host to greet guests, coordinate seating, and help maintain a smooth dining room flow. This part-time role offers a welcoming workplace and opportunities to learn and grow within our restaurant group.

You will handle reservations, manage waitlists, assist with takeout when needed, and introduce guests to their server by name. Availability Friday to Sunday is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service or restaurant experience preferred, but training is available.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Weekend Host - Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Latin Bites Kitchen is hiring a friendly, organized and professional Host for our Woodway location.

The Host is responsible for creating an excellent first impression, welcoming every guest warmly and coordinating seating and reservations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Greet every guest with a warm and professional attitude


• Ask guests whether it is their first visit and provide a brief introduction to the restaurant


• Manage reservations, waitlists and table assignments


• Seat guests according to server rotation and restaurant flow


• Introduce guests to their server by name


• Immediately notify servers and managers when guests are seated


• Answer telephone calls and provide general restaurant information


• Keep menus, the host stand and entrance area clean and organized


• Communicate guest requests and special occasions to the service team


• Assist with takeout orders and other front-of-house duties when needed

Requirements:

• Friendly, confident and comfortable communicating with guests


• Professional appearance and positive attitude


• Responsible, punctual and organized
