Job summary

Wequassett Resort and Golf Club on Cape Cod is seeking friendly hosts/hostesses to welcome guests and ensure a memorable dining experience. You will greet guests, seat them, and assist servers as needed, with attention to detail and a courteous demeanor.

The role involves managing reservations via OpenTable, communicating guest needs to management, and thanking guests on departure. Prior restaurant experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with OpenTable is a plus.

Job description

Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is seeking hosts/hostesses for its varied restaurants. This role is responsible for providing a warm welcome and a fond farewell to all diners. The person should enjoy interaction with guests and the desire to provide a memorable experience to each party. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and teamwork.

The responsibilities of the position include

• Greeting and seating guests in a warm and gracious manner

• Assisting servers whenever possible
• Maintaining menus in pristine condition
• Relaying guest compliments and complaints to management

Training will be provided, but previous restaurant experience is preferred.
