Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co is seeking a friendly and energetic Restaurant Host for our Beacon Rooftop dining area in Fort Myers, FL. You will welcome guests, manage seating assignments, and coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth, warm dining start.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, excellent communication skills, and hospitality experience. You will operate POS (MICROS) and assist with daily front-of-house duties in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, at least one year as a host in the Southwest Florida area preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use tablets/iPads and operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Use a rotation method to manage seating fairly.
• Coordinate with servers and front-of-house to ensure timely seating.
• Maintain cleanliness of the greeter station and front entrance.

We hope so.**Beacon Host will be responsible for greeting and seating all guests in the Beacon Rooftop dining areas to ensure each guest is welcomed with a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic greeting and that they are seated as quickly as possible to start their dining experience. \\*\\*Please note, Mainsail Lodging & Development is a drug-free workplace.
