Job summary

The Luminary Hotel & Co in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a proactive Multi-Outlet Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily outlet operations and deliver exceptional guest service.

You'll oversee several venues, onboard and develop staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain high service standards while ensuring compliance with liquor laws and safety policies.

Qualifications

Job Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic people who take the work seriously, but not themselves. The Multi‑Outlet Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to all guests and developing a strong team environment.

Director of Restaurants, Outlet Assistant General Manager(s)

Essential Functions

Responsible for the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, including Dean Street Coffee & Retail, Lobby Bar, Silver King, Ella Mae’s Diner, Workshop, Beacon Social Drinkery, Chips Sports Pub, Oxbow Bar & Grill, and Caloosa Sound Convention Center Amphitheatre.

• Ensure scheduled functions are complete and accurately set up.
• Assist in maintaining a motivated, interactive, positive team.
• Onboard, train, and coach staff.
• Open and close shifts per manager’s checklist.
• Provide outstanding guest service, initiate conversations, and solicit feedback.
• Manage daily scheduling of team members.
• Implement tools for running shifts: schedules, floor plans, reservations.
• Resolve team member issues and guest issues such as reservation changes or cancellations.
• Monitor floor activity, manage hours, and maintain service levels.
• Ensure side work is completed before staff leave.
• Enforce proper uniform and attire.
• Limit liability related to alcohol service by following TIPS practices.
• Verify customer age for alcohol purchase.
• Maintain fair, consistent coaching and counseling.
• Attend meetings and maintain inter‑departmental relations.
• Communicate issues to managers and next shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality/food & beverage experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology: tablets, iPads, Micros POS, OpenTable, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
