One of your key duties will be to meet and greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and walk them to their seats. Responsibilities: • Respond to phone inquiries professionally and secure reservations while ensuring all seating issues are quickly and efficiently handled • Direct customers to their seats, ensuring tables are set properly with enough tableware for each diner, water glasses are filled, and menus are sanitized • Check the dining room constantly for cleanliness and organization and restock condiments on the table as necessary • Acknowledge all customers warmly immediately upon arrival to ensure their first impression of the restaurant is positive • Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party • Take carryout orders and online orders Qualifications: • Responsible for communicating politely with customers, skilled at organizing, and have the ability to troubleshoot customer requests or issues quickly, and efficiently • This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language • Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required • Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly
