Job summary

Jersey Mike's is seeking a General Manager in Washington to lead all restaurant operations and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team while ensuring standards of quality, cleanliness, and service are consistently met.

The role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and community engagement. The GM will manage labor, food costs, and profitability, build strong local relationships, and partner with regional leadership to achieve performance

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience required.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet applicable age requirements for operating certain equipment.
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided or supported if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall operation and performance of the restaurant.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Create a positive, engaging workplace culture built on teamwork and respect.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and a 'Sub Above' experience.
• Drive sales growth while managing labor, food costs and profitability.
• Ensure consistent execution of Jersey Mike's standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and operating standards.
• Develop future leaders by coaching Crew Members and Supervisors.
