Job summary

Denco Family, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for a Denny’s location in California. The GM will oversee all restaurant operations, guest service, training, scheduling, and profitability while driving growth and brand standards.

The successful candidate will lead a team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant, hospitality or retail management
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Food Safety Manager certification required
• Ability to work a minimum of 55 hours a week
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a POS system

Responsibilities

• Promotes Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.
• Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, brand standards execution and employee training.
• Prepares and interprets financial and operational reports and schedules, analyzes data and develops solutions to ensure operating goals are achieved.
• Achieves controllable profit and flow-thru goals by overseeing all controllable costs and taking corrective action.
• Ensures timely implementation of corporate initiatives and marketing promotions.
