Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken is seeking a General Manager for our Downriver location. You will lead daily operations, uphold our Six Pillars of Excellence, and drive guest satisfaction, quality, and profitability.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing team members, scheduling, managing food cost, and ensuring health and safety standards, while building a strong leadership bench for future growth.

Qualifications

• Food management experience strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to lead in a team environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Passionate, positive attitude.
• High school education or equivalent experience (Preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members and future leaders.
• Create schedules that balance guest service with labor budgets.
• Drive sales while managing labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Maintain outstanding operational standards throughout the restaurant.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and product quality.
• Lead daily operations with consistency, urgency, and professionalism.
• Conduct performance coaching and foster ownership beyond compliance.
• Develop Shift Managers and build leadership bench strength.
• Foster an environment where Operational Excellence is the standard.
