Position: Restaurant General Manager at The Joule Dallas, TX

Location: The Joule, Dallas, TX

About The Joule: Built in the 1920s, this neo-Gothic landmark was originally the Dallas National Bank. It has been transformed into a Forbes four-star boutique hotel, serving as a cultural and dining destination in downtown Dallas.

Role Overview: The Restaurant General Manager oversees all aspects of the F&B outlet operations, ensuring profitability, high-quality service, and product standards. Responsibilities include marketing, employee retention, budget management, and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with staff and guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Listen to and resolve employee and guest concerns.
  • Manage multiple tasks and departmental priorities.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain attendance and personal appearance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Forbes standards and regulations.
  • Identify and address operational issues proactively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support restaurant success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
