Job summary

Tommy Bahama in San Diego is seeking a Front-of-House Leader who builds learning environments to drive sales and service excellence, while mentoring team members toward internal career growth.

You will develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants, manage training programs, control expenses, and uphold safety standards across the restaurant.

This in-person role requires physical tasks and a commitment to a positive, professional island-life culture that expands across the country.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning and nurturing environment for all front of the house restaurant team members that promotes sales and service success, and internal career growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase qualified applicants, including but not limited to proactively recruiting and mentoring the team.
• Facilitate implementation of company learning/training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job.
• Manage individual restaurant expenses ensuring budgetary compliance
• Cultivate an environment of open, authentic dialogue with the restaurant team, regional and corporate partners
• Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures
• Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests.
