Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking a dedicated front-of-house leader in King of Prussia, PA to foster a learning, nurturing environment that drives sales and service excellence while supporting internal career growth. You will maintain appropriate staff levels, manage payroll hours to budgeted percentages, and implement company learning programs in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager and regional teams.

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling.
• Routine standing for duration of shift.
• Safely maneuvering restaurant equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment for front-of-house staff to drive sales and service success and internal career growth.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels and manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage.
• Implement company learning/training programs and monitor performance for on-the-job transfer.
• Cultivate open, authentic dialogue with restaurant teams, regional and corporate partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of policies; develop/streamline restaurant processes with the GM.
• Administer safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Create a learning and nurturing environment for all front of the house restaurant team members that promotes sales and service success, and internal career growth. Maintain appropriate staff levels. Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage. Facilitate implementation of company learning/training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job. Cultivate an environment of open, authentic dialogue with the restaurant team, regional and corporate partners. Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures. Develop/streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager. Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests. Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required - frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
