Tampa Joe's Restaurant and Sports Bar is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead the management team toward delivering outstanding hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to hold staff accountable, develop a strong team, and create a positive experience for guests and employees while driving profitability and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Proven ability to manage labor costs and scheduling effectively.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including FOH, BOH, and bar.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop management and hourly staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules to control labor costs.
• Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Monitor labor, sales, food costs, beverage costs, and other operating expenses.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
• Address guest and employee concerns professionally and promptly.
• Conduct performance coaching and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure proper opening, closing, cash handling, and security procedures.
