Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead one of our McDonald's restaurants in Des Moines, Iowa. The General Manager will be responsible for profitability while upholding McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Key duties include overseeing operations, people management, financial oversight, safety, and continuous improvement to meet and exceed standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have previous McDonald’s experience and HU Graduation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, guest service, and team management.
• Lead all human resource processes: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance management, and training.
• Make critical business decisions regarding inventory, budgeting, labor management and food ordering/costs to ensure profitability.
• Ensure adherence to food safety measures and maintain high standards for guest, employee safety and restaurant security.
• Oversee maintenance plans and ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds standards of excellence.
