Taco John’s International is seeking a full-time Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee staffing, training, inventory management, and compliance with standards and local regulations to drive profitability.

You will optimize labor and food costs, analyze financials, and reinforce food safety and quality. Grow with a fast-paced brand that values inclusion and teamwork in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field is a plus.
• Proven history of leading teams, managing operations, and achieving business goals.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor management, food cost control, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Proficiency with point-of-sales (POS) systems and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team, including managers and staff.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and evaluations to support growth.
• Deliver guest-first service and hospitality while maintaining standards.
• Oversee labor, food cost, and inventory through scheduling and forecasting.
• Analyze financial reports and budgets to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure cash handling, banking procedures, and loss prevention practices.
