Overview

HOA Brands is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for Hooters of Overland Park. If you are passionate about food, people, and creating a fun atmosphere, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are experiencing high demand for our lively atmosphere and excellent service, and we are looking for leaders to deliver our signature experience with ice-cold beer and hot wings, served by our iconic Hooters Girls. Hooters is a casual, beach-themed concept that offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. Currently, we operate 430 restaurants, with plans to expand further.

Responsibilities

  • People: Performance management, hiring & retaining talent, leadership & coaching, training & development.
  • Customer: Guest service & atmosphere, guest satisfaction, food & beverage quality, menu & product launches.
  • Financials: Deliver results, planning & execution, inventory control/P&L.
  • Standards: Responsible alcohol service, food safety & sanitation, Hooters Girl image, facility maintenance & cleanliness, safety & security.
  • Other Responsibilities: Scheduling & staffing, proper cash handling, team building, managing vendor relationships, To Go service & catering, local store/grassroots marketing.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 5+ years of full-service restaurant GM experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Successfully completed food safety & sanitation training.
  • Must be 21 years or older.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • General knowledge of full-service restaurant operations and the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Operational expertise in customer service and hospitality.
  • Effective coaching skills.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
