Job summary

Shake Shack in New York City is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our high-volume team. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, manage costs, ensure safety and quality, and drive sales to hit profitability targets.

You bring at least 3 years of GM experience in fast-paced hospitality, strong leadership, and a track record of teamwork and guest excellence. The role offers comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and growth opportunities within a values-driven, inclusive ShackFam.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations
• Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
• Knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
• Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
• Food handler certification, preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Pay Range - $78,062.40 - $100,484.80
