This concept will feature down-to-earth, low-and-slow cuisine served in a high-end setting with high-quality service and beverages. The restaurant features 150 seats—100 indoors and 50 on the patio—and is projected to generate $2–3 million in annual sales.Job Overview: Ray Ray’s is seeking an experienced, high-performing Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our newest full-service location. The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality professional who brings a hands-on, people-first approach to service, team development, and operational excellence.Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory, and scheduling.
- Provide clear, consistent leadership to front- and back-of-house staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align goals, communicate changes, and celebrate wins.
- Handle scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions professionally and fairly.
- Set and maintain high standards for guest service and overall hospitality.
- Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns in real-time.
- Champion a guest-first mindset across all departments.
- Monitor service flow and floor operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure consistent training across roles.
- Implement and maintain efficient systems for ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
- Monitor KPIs and P&L statements to identify areas for operational and financial improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in full-service restaurants.
- Strong understanding of hospitality best practices and customer service principles.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Square POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory platforms.
- ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
