Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Restaurant Food Runner to ensure timely, accurate delivery of menu items from kitchen to guests and to support smooth service between front- and back-of-house teams.

The role requires fast, efficient work, clear communication, and a team attitude. You will help with table turnover, restock service items, and maintain clean expo lines while upholding guest-centered, professional standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in an efficient, organized manner.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and proper presentation before delivery.
• Communicate course timing, modifications, and special requests to servers.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables between courses or after guests leave.
• Support servers by restocking plates, silverware, and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo lines, food stations, and service areas.
• Assist with running beverages as needed.
• Answer basic guest questions or direct them to servers.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
