Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co Arlington is seeking a Restaurant Food Runner to support a fast-paced dining operation, delivering menu items from kitchen to guests with accuracy and timeliness.

You will communicate timing and special requests to servers, assist in clearing and resetting tables, and help maintain restaurant presentation. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and navigate crowded spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in an efficient, organized manner.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and proper presentation before delivery.
• Communicate course timing, modifications, and special requests to servers.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables between courses or after guests leave.
• Support servers by restocking plates, silverware, and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo lines, food stations, and service areas.
• Assist with running beverages as needed.
• Answer basic guest questions or direct them to servers.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
