Job summary

Kim Management Inc. is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to own month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting for multiple restaurant concepts and entities. You will partner with restaurant leadership and family office leadership to deliver accurate financials and scalable controls.

The role requires deep restaurant accounting knowledge, strong GAAP understanding, and experience with Toast and Restaurant365. Office-based with potential for occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit food & beverage accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience owning a complete month-end close process with limited administrative support strongly preferred.
• Experience with Toast or similar restaurant POS systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple concepts and entities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare and maintain restaurant and consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Review monthly performance by restaurant to identify trends and variances.
• Manage accounts payable including vendor reconciliation and approvals.
• Reconcile sales, cash, and POS transactions; manage inventory accounting and COGS.
