Job summary

Wendys in Baton Rouge is seeking a Maintenance technician to perform daily repairs and preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment and property within assigned stores. You will ensure timely completion of PM schedules and provide ongoing PM training at the store level.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance status, keeping logs, managing parts inventories, and assisting with equipment installations for special projects. On-call duties and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, and plumbing with HVAC/refrigeration awareness.
• EPA and HVAC/R Type 1 & Type 2 certifications required; licensing may be location-dependent.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on restaurant equipment and property.
• Assists in installation of equipment for special projects.
• Maintains maintenance logs and reports for invoices and inventory.
• Supports store openings, events, and closing procedures as needed.
