Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Restaurant Maintenance Technician to support Chick-fil-A restaurants with preventative and reactive maintenance across a defined local market. You will diagnose, repair, and service kitchen equipment and building systems to meet performance standards.

Role requires troubleshooting across commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC, with on-site responsibilities and 100% local travel.

Qualifications

• Technical trade school training and/or hands-on experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of related trade experience or equivalent.
• Experience with sealed refrigeration/HVAC systems, electrical, mechanical systems, process controls.
• Experience servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Safe driving record (MVR).
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Reading diagrams and schematics.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency; mobile service apps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter; able to work independently.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment
• Service commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC, and base building systems
• Respond to Operator service requests within established service level agreements
• Install ordered parts accurately and professionally; complete documentation
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Support on-call emergency response during non-standard hours
• Follow safe work practices and OEM training/certifications
• Engage with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors during service
