Taco Tek Mexican Grill is hiring for a Restaurant Crew Member to join our fast-paced team in a busy setting. You will prepare food, manage orders, and provide friendly service while keeping the dining area tidy and welcoming.

This paid position offers training, an employee discount, and a flexible schedule. Prior fast-food experience is helpful, but training is provided to get you up to speed quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick service or fast food environment preferred with on-the-job training.
• Familiarity with food handling and sanitation standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• POS system experience such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is helpful.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to recipes and safety standards.

• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail sales transactions with precision.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their experience is positive from start to finish.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards in a restaurant or café environment is highly valued.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will be advantageous but can be learned on the job.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
