Sbhonline is seeking an enthusiastic Ice Cream Shop Counterperson for our Monmouth County location. You will greet guests, describe menu items, and provide exceptional service while scooping ice cream and boxing baked goods.

Flexible shifts include afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Prior bakery/ice cream experience helps, but is not required; strong communication and cash-handling skills are essential. A friendly, energetic team environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in guests with a friendly demeanor, enter orders into the POS system.
• Prepare and serve a variety of desserts, including scooping ice cream, plating baked goods, assembling specialty sundaes, and serving beverages.
• Package custom dessert orders for takeout, ensuring delicate cakes and pastries are boxed safely.
• Maintain a spotless front counter, clean glass display cases, sanitize tables, and stock condiment stations.
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately while balancing the register at shift end.
• Restock display cases, toppings, packaging supplies, and paper goods throughout the day.
