Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Texas is seeking a restaurant Cook to oversee multiple stations and ensure quality, speed, and guest satisfaction. You will handle food production, grill and fry duties, and packing orders while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires flexible hours, ability to work nights and weekends, strong teamwork, and reliable communication. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to follow directions and maintain hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet product quality standards.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Cook on the grill and operate fry station.
• Dress items to order and check quality.
• Package menu items and sanitize work area.
• Clean including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing food area.
