Russ’ Restaurant in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring Back of House Cooks to join a busy, family-owned kitchen. The role focuses on preparing and cooking fresh meals, maintaining quality, and adhering to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Restaurant Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality food our guests have enjoyed for generations.

• Prepare and cook fresh, delicious meals according to Russ’ recipes and quality standards.
• Work efficiently during busy lunch, afternoon, and dinner shifts.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
• Keep your cooking station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Work together with fellow cooks and team members to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Help create a positive and productive kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant cooking experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person!
• Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including Saturdays as scheduled.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and detail.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
