Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees daily operations of the grill and food prep, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and storage. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the franchise partner as a strong team member.

Responsibilities

1. Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete uniform.
2. Greet customers warmly with a smile and verbal greeting.
3. Prepare food promptly upon order receipt.
4. Complete shift checklists, stock, and prepare the unit for the next shift.
5. Report safety concerns and customer complaints immediately to the manager.
6. Know the menu and daily features, ensuring correct cooking and presentation.
7. Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize sales.
8. Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies.
9. Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned.
10. Control food costs by managing waste and portions.

Qualifications
