Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees daily operations of the grill and food prep. Responsibilities include proper food preparation, handling, and storage, along with delivering excellent customer service and supporting our franchise partner as a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete uniform.
• Greet customers warmly with a smile and verbal welcome: "Good Morning" or "Welcome to Huddle House."
• Prepare food promptly once orders are received.
• Complete the position checklist, stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Report safety concerns or customer complaints immediately to the manager.
• Know the menu and daily features, ensuring correct cooking and presentation.
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize shift sales.
• Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies.
• Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Control food costs by managing waste and portion sizes.

Qualifications
