Job summary

El Super in San Bernardino is seeking a Restaurant Clerk to support customer service and food preparation at the Baseline location. You will assist with grilled and hot items, follow precise company standards, and help maintain a clean, inviting restaurant environment for customers.

The role requires the ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and may involve completing a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and present information clearly in small groups.
• Follow written or oral instructions with attention to detail.
• Lift up to 25–45 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Restaurant Clerk position is one of the key contact points for our customer service experience and will Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
