Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact point for customer service experience.
• Assist with the preparation of El Super grilled and hot food items, following company standards for preparation and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment.
• Work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write Spanish and English, and interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Have a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (optional).
• Retail Management Certificate (optional).
