Job summary

Legends Global is hiring a Restaurant/Catering Server to deliver outstanding guest service in our Clubs, Suites, or In-Seat environments at on-site Grand Rapids venues. You will serve food and beverages, work with a dynamic team across stadium outlets, and help with clearing tables and running food.

The role requires energy, reliable teamwork, and a commitment to high service standards. Requirements include HS diploma, Michigan Alcohol Server Certification, and the ability to work nights,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and capable of high-energy guest interactions.
• Experience in fast-paced service environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of beverage and food service standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Server position provides exceptional guest service while working collectively and cooperatively in the Clubs, Suites, or In-Seat environment.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium.
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium.

The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Server position provides exceptional guest service while working collectively and cooperatively in the Clubs, Suites, or In-Seat environment.

• Ability to interact with guests in order to assure guest satisfaction.
• Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium.
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium.

Education

Education and/or Experience

• Must have one (1) to two (2) years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess Michigan Alcohol Server Certification (ex: Servservo, TIPS)

Skills And Abilities

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site: Grand Rapids Complex (Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
