Job summary

Loews Philadelphia Hotel seeks a friendly Restaurant Busperson to help maintain clean dining spaces and assist servers during busy service. You will contribute to a welcoming guest experience in a landmark Center City setting.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to multitask, and available weekends and holidays. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent is commonly required. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, dishes, and supplies.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly.
• Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and menus.
• Support servers by delivering food, beverages, condiments, and guest requests.
• Refill water and beverages as needed to enhance service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, floors, service stations, and tray stands.
• Remove trash and keep waste areas tidy and sanitary.
• Respond to spills promptly to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Stock service areas with silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist with restocking items needed during service.
• Help prepare dining areas for the next shift or meal period.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
