Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Busser or entry level restaurant role.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical ability to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Friendly, responsible, and punctual.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with queries and redirect as necessary.
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned and reset between seats.
• Serve food and refill beverages as required.
• Assist with cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware.
• Ensure menus, crockery and cutlery are cleaned and replenished between tables.
• Manage inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and condiments.
• Report damages, shortages, and complaints to the manager.
• Move tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.
• Tidy the restaurant after service and prep for the next service.
