Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Restaurant Busser to maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, tables, service areas and aisles. You will collaborate with servers, assist with table maintenance, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.

The role requires basic English, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• 1–2 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with server on guest departure.
• Engages with guests politely during interactions.
• Answers basic questions regarding menu ingredients and preparation.
• Resets tables to dining standards and cleans debris.
• Separates dishware, flatware and glassware.
• Delivers and empties bus carts to dishing area.
• Polishes dishware, flatware and glassware.
• Stocking of food products, glassware, silverware and supplies.
• Maintains service areas and stays sanitation compliant.
• Acts as server assistant with table maintenance.
• Maintains clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Responds promptly to guest inquiries and promotes services.
