The primary role of the Restaurant Bartender is to provide guests with an excellent restaurant and bar experience, ensuring beverages are mixed and served properly while following established protocols.

Work Performed:

The Restaurant Bartender will:

• Provide exceptional service by welcoming and courteously serving guests;
• Dispense alcoholic beverages in accordance with liquor laws and company policies;
• Perform side duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, garnish prep, food and beverage prep, stocking, etc.;
• Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables before closing;
• Complete daily opening and closing duties;
• Manage cash and secure money drops as per policy;
• Report tips properly for taxes;
• Follow health guidelines for food handling and sanitation;
• Maintain cleanliness of sinks, sideboards, and refrigerators;
• Rotate and date food daily;
• Follow safety and security policies, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions;
• Perform any other duties necessary for the role.

Qualifications:

Required Experience: Six (6) months of prior bartending experience

Preferred Experience: Hospitality background

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or ability to obtain within 60 days

Preferred Technology: Experience with Micros system

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs regularly, and stand/walk for entire shift; ability to bend and squat repeatedly

Other: Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
