Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; TIPS certification required.
• Must meet all state/local age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems preferred.

• Serve wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and accompanying food.

Summary

The Restaurant Bartender will shape the guest experience through excellent service, product knowledge, and engaging hospitality. Your ability to craft beverages, manage bar operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere directly impacts guest satisfaction, food and beverage revenue, and brand reputation. Whether serving solo or supporting a team, your presence at the bar influences the energy and pace of service across the outlet.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serve wine draught, bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food.
• Collect money for drinks served.
• Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies. Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies.
• Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
• Wash glasses, bar, and equipment.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks; prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned associates.
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Previous bartending experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment preferred
• Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and bar setup/teardown
• Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus
• Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• TIPS certification or equivalent required
• Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $10.00/hour + Tips
