Job summary

Hilton Charlotte Uptown is seeking a friendly bartender to provide outstanding guest service, take menu orders, and prepare cocktails in a fast-paced setting.

Full-time shifts run 10am-5pm or 4pm-midnight, including weekends and holidays. Must follow beverage recipes, know promotions, input orders into the POS, and deliver beverages and food promptly while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year of server experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and guest-service oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in POS system.

The bartender is responsible for providing outstanding guest service by taking prompt menu orders, preparing and serving cocktails and beverages, and ensuring high quality of food delivery and guest service.

Technical Requirements:

• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Must have full-time availability to work from 10am-5pm and/or 4pm until midnight including weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow beverage recipes, prepare cocktails and assist guests with menu recommendations
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in point-of-sale system
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
• Replenish beverages and deliver an exceptional guest service experience
