Job summary

Cattlemens Restaurants in Livermore is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations. You will lead service staff, assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and cost controls to ensure exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on safety, cleanliness, and team development. The position includes a salary of $72,000-$83,000/year, bonus opportunities, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a restaurant manager in a full service restaurant.
• Ability to train, develop and lead a team.
• Financial management experience.
• Technological skills in the programs listed above, ideal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and most holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire service staff to deliver Western Syle hospitality.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and team development.
• Oversee food & beverage service, inventory, and cost controls.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment inside and outside the restaurant.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, marketing, and business initiatives.
• Uphold Cattlemens’ commitment to uncompromising hospitality and guest satisfaction.
