Cattlemens, a family-owned steakhouse, is seeking an Assistant Manager in Sacramento to support the General Manager in daily operations and staff leadership. You will coach service staff, oversee hiring and training, manage costs, and ensure a safe, welcoming dining environment while partnering on budgets and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a restaurant manager in a full service restaurant.
• Ability to train, develop and lead a team.
• Financial management experience.
• Technological skills in the programs listed above, ideal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and most holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire service staff to deliver Western Syle hospitality.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and team development.
• Oversee food & beverage service, inventory, and cost controls.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment inside and outside the restaurant.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, marketing, and business initiatives.
• Uphold Cattlemens’ commitment to guest satisfaction.
