Taco Bell Corp. in New Jersey seeks a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the restaurant general manager, oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and customer service, and drive financial performance.

You will supervise team members, assist in scheduling, train staff, uphold health and safety standards, and help manage inventories and costs. Location: 4807 Stelton Rd, South Plainfield, NJ 07080; pay transparency: $18.50–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire team members.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and managing shifts.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation standards, and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and equipment to maximize profitability.
• Supervise and train crew members and shift managers; provide coaching to improve performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist in staffing decisions as needed.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
