Duties And Responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including: Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification, and any additional training required by Zax LLC.
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members satisfy and exceed expectations.
  • Ensure proper training, ongoing coaching, and development of team members.
  • Create and manage work schedules following company standards and local laws.
  • Supervise, lead, and coach team members to perform at their best and achieve goals.
  • Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle performance concerns, conduct reviews, and mentor staff.
  • Foster a positive culture and team morale through recognition and leadership.
  • Address guest and team member complaints and concerns promptly and respectfully.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Utilize management tools and keep accurate records.
  • Maintain flexibility and safety standards, report concerns appropriately.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, reliable transportation.
  • Open availability, minimum 5 days, 32-48 hours/week.
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Successful background check.
  • Leadership qualities, organizational skills, team interaction skills.
  • 1-3 years management experience required; restaurant management preferred.

Capability Requirements

  • Sit, stand, walk continuously.
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, climb.
  • Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hands and wrists for manipulation.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Observe and respond to environment effectively.
