Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) in Gallup, NM is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily operations and deliver friendly, personalized service with great food in a clean, inviting environment. You will lead a fast-paced team, schedule staff, assist the General Manager, and help uphold brand standards.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of assistant management experience in high-volume food service and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing - access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent - possess all documents required by state and federal law
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
