Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group in Hickory, NC is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to lead and develop a team at Marco's Pizza. You will ensure top-notch product quality and customer service while building sales and controlling costs.

In this role you will manage store operations, supervise scheduling, and assist with marketing events to boost store performance. This position offers growth opportunities within a large franchise network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience and/or management experience.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, and to build sales while controlling costs.
• Manage store operations and ensure standards for quality, speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Assist with marketing events and promotions to increase store sales and profitability.
• Ensure weekly KPIs are met and goals achieved; supervise scheduling and HR tasks.
• Maintain exterior and interior store conditions and follow security procedures for deposits and safe contents.

As the Assistant Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

• Contribute in process to hire, retain and develop team members.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Assist manager with aspects of human resources including scheduling, performance feedback and communication

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Provide great customer service so that each customer is happy and respond to complaints as needed.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with marketing events and promotions to increase store sales.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Manage P&L line items to reduce waste and ensure profitability of the store.
